The Confusion will be Enough... (Steve Hines)

Chance Press is proud to publish the first book by Canada’s Stephen Hines, titled The Confusion Will be Enough for Them to Leave you Alone. The text is short – eight prose poems, to be exact – although each word cuts so deeply that these short bursts constitute a major work. Hines is a master of the economy of words, and he uses each line to embellish the circumstances surrounding each poem, giving everything he writes its own life outside of the page. In addition, Hines also provides the cover image and interior illustrations for this book.

The Confusion Will be Enough for Them to Leave you Alone is a hand-sewn single-signature chapbook with handmade endpapers. The covers are Gocco-printed onto kraft cardstock wrappers using an original drawing by the author.
